Manchester City are keen on Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard but may have to cash in on Sergio Aguero to land their man.
City are said to be lining up a swoop to land Hazard at the end of the season, but reports now claim that Chelsea will ask for Aguero to be included as part of any deal as they look to sign a new striker.
Aguero has been a revelation for City, and although the idea of letting the club’s all-time leading goalscorer leave would seem out of the question, Pep Guardiola could be open to the idea of it, if he can land Hazard in the process.
There have been question marks over Aguero’s future and how he will fit into Guardiola’s system, but he has managed to cope so far when scoring 14 goals in 11 appearances in 2018.
City would also face strong competition from Real Madrid, who have been chasing Hazard for some time, but Guardiola could hold the trump card in the form of Aguero, if the striker would agree to joining Chelsea.
