Freshpak National Women’s League week two surprises with 20 goals

The Freshpak National Women’s League hit week two this weekend with amazing performances and sensational goals coming from both the Southern and the Northern Zones.

On Saturday in the Southern Zone encounters, Hasaacas Ladies won 2-0 against Immigration  Ladies at Bonpeh Pack in Takoradi, Halifax had a goalless draw with Lady Strikers in Tema  and elsewhere at the ATTC Park Kokomlemle Accra,  Police Ladies went away to defeat Samiria Ladies 2-0

In the Northern Zone Saturday’clash, Prisons Ladies humiliated Northern Ladies at home by a resounding 4-0 victory at the Batico field in Sunyani and Tamale saw Pearl Pia Ladies trash Ashtown Ladies also by 4-0.

The action continued on Sunday with Sea Lions Ladies winning 2-0 over Soccer Interllectuals in the Southern Zone.

Meanwhile, the Northern Zone on Sunday saw Kumasi Sports Academy making an encouraging 4-2 win over Supreme Ladies and defending Champions Ampem Darkoa were held to a goalless draw by Fabulous Ladies.

The total goals recorded from the match day two was 20 with Northern Zone recording the highest of 14 goals and the Southern Zone scoring just six goals.
